Some partners offer technical assistance for small communities, including operator certification, and other professional development.

Many partners offer assistance for the planning and design phases of projects. including rate studies, engineering assistance, and design loans or grants.

almost all partners offer funding assistance for the projects. Funding assistance includes various grants, grant-like money, and loans. Additionally, projects may be co-funded by multiple partners. Ensuring that our rural communities receive the best help with the least financial burden.

The Arizona Rural Water Infrastructure Committee (RWIC) is a partnership of various federal and state agencies who provide loans, grants and technical assistance to Arizona’s rural communities.

Our mission is to serve as a “One-Stop Shop” for rural communities with a population of less than 10,000. We seek to create a sustainable organization of funders and technical assistance providers who partner to meet the needs of small drinking water and wastewater systems throughout Arizona.
